Justin Blevins

- Arnold, Maryland
- Fowl Exposure Northeast Pro-Staff
Justin Blevins has been chasing waterfowl
in Maryland for 8 years. Justin’s first duck hunt
was in Rock Hall, Maryland at Napley Green Gun Club. Justin
could not shoot a gun
because he was too young at the time but, he always helped
his father and his hunting
buddies set decoys and learn how to call ducks.
Justin had an addiction for hunting waterfowl
after his first hunt; all he
thought about was ducks, ducks and more ducks! Justin finally was
old enough to
take the gun safety course and he received his hunting license two years later.
Justin went on a youth duck hunt in Taylor’s
Island, Maryland and he shot his first duck, a hen
pintail. His whole group shot a total of 6 drake mallards and 1 hen
pintail. Once Maryland
reestablished a
Canada goose season after over shooting the population, Justin finally had a
chance to shoot a goose. Justin and his dad hunted with their neighbor for geese
at
Wye Island, Maryland. Justin always loved helping out his
neighbor setting decoys and trying
to call geese. Justin finally shot his first
goose, with one shot.
Justin and his father joined Delmar
Waterfowl Club after hunting with several hunting
clubs along the Eastern Shore. Justin’s passion for conservation and
calling contests
started when his father joined the hunting club. Justin called
in his first duck calling
contest at Delaware Bay Novice Junior Duck held at his
club. Justin did not place but,
he told himself he could do it! Justin bought
many new Zink goose and duck calls and
started to work on his routines. The following year, Justin placed
4th in Delaware Bay
Junior Duck. Justin kept working on his calling and
met many new hunting buddies.
Justin has called in many calling contest like MD
State Duck and Goose, Worlds Goose
and Delaware Bay Duck and
Goose.
Justin puts a lot of time into conservation
as well, Justin belongs to the Delta Waterfowl
Upper Chesapeake Chapter located
in Harve De Grace, Maryland. Havre De Grace is the
Decoy Capital
of the World and has a lot of waterfowl hunting history on the Susquehanna
Flats. Justin spends his time working on the committee and on numerous
conservation and
youth events. Justin loves to help out with restoring the
Chesapeake watersheds and learning
about our
waterfowl heritage on the Chesapeake Bay.
Justin loves to fish during the summer for
perch, blue fish, rockfish and pickerel on the
Severn River and Chesapeake Bay. During the summer, Justin works at
Angler’s Sport
Center in Maryland. Angler’s Sport Center
is one of the oldest hunting stores in the state
of Maryland. Justin’s job is
a bait-boy; Justin restocks bait and relines braid on to fishing
reels. Justin loves everyday he goes into work
and sometimes wishes he could stay longer.
Hunter Brown

- Winona, Minnesota
- Fowl Exposure Midwest Pro-Staff
Hunter got into hunting because of his Dad. Passing the tradition down was
very important to
him, and he did just that. He took Hunter out for the
Youth Day, just to see if he would actually
be interested! Well with all
the action, Hunter was hooked for life. I didn't end up getting
anything,
but with all the anticipation, he couldn't just stop going. Best choice
of his life!
The main type of waterfowling that Hunter enjoys is back water pothole
hunting. Hunter loves
to be where the birds want to be and when they are
pressured out on the good ol' Mississippi,
they always seem to find
their way to Hunter and his Dad. Hunter mainly shoot mallards, gadwall,
and
teal. He doesn't get much goose hunting action, maybe the first 2 weeks
of the season and
after that it is very spotty. Mallards, to Hunter, bring
about a certain challenge. What are they
wanting on this particular
day? Are they going to like my spread? These are questions that
always keep Hunter on his toes!
Hunter's other hobbies include playing school and Legion baseball,
pheasant hunting, and any
other type of hunting. If there is a season, Hunter is either hunting it or he is going to try to hunt
it soon!
Waterfowling is Hunter's passion, all the others are just nice bonuses!
Justin Davidson

- Keno, Oregon
- Fowl Exposure Western Pro-Staff
Justin was brought up in a hunting family with his father
Jim Davidson, his mother Jeanette
Davidson, his Grandfather John Davidson,
Grandmother Joan Davidson and his uncle John
Davidson being the major influence
on getting him involved in hunting. Justin was tagging
along with his father
and uncle at the age of 5, going out and sitting in the duck boat watching
his
two biggest heroes calling in and shooting ducks, then at the age of 9 he shot
his first goose
and that’s when his obsession began. Now he is 17 years old and
has learned how to call, set
different decoy patterns and the proper placement and concealment
of blinds.
Justin is more into goose hunting, even though there is a lot
of opportunities for duck hunting,
in Justin’s eyes nothing beats laying in a
field and having some great big honkers coming right
at you, listening to them
calling or the cartilage in there wings grinding as they are circling over
head.
Justin’s hobbies include Hunting anything he can, fishing,
playing football and figuring out ways
to make his hunting spread bigger and
better for next season.
Jordan Lybeck

- Emnuclaw, Washington
- Fowl Exposure Western Pro-Staff
Jordan Started his hunting career at the age of 4 months when his dad
took him in
a back pack into the cascade mountains bear hunting. Jordan
went on his first duck
hunt at age 3 and shot his first duck, a bufflehead, at age 10. Since then, Jordan has
become obsessed with all
things waterfowl. He typically hunts ducks in small farm
ponds and in
the many flooded pastures around his hometown of Enumclaw,
Washington.
Taking mostly mallards, wigeons, and teal, with wigeons being
his personal favorite to hunt,
Due to their massive flocking behaviors
and the sound a flock of 300 hundred committed
Wigeons make while
passing over the decoys as they make their final descent into the
decoys.
Jordan's family breeds, trains and field trials German Wirehaired
Pointers. Several of their
dogs have championship titles to their
names. In addition to waterfowling Jordan also has
a wide variety of
hobbies including bird taxidermy, photography, drawing, and dog training
which all help to pass the time during the off-season.
Cody Oberfoell

- Cedar Rapids, Iowa
- Fowl Exposure Midwest Pro-Staff
When Cody was 8 years old and lived in Colorado, he went on an elk hunt
with his dad to
the beautiful Colorado mountains. Cody was hooked from then
on going yearly with his Dad
and experiencing some great hunts on some of
Colorado's premier ranches. Then Cody and
his father decided to move to Iowa to be
closer to family and that's when Cody's addiction
for waterfowl hunting
began. His cousin, Dan Oberfoell, took him on an amazing youth hunt
filled
with tons of ducks. That year Cody didn't hunt again for waterfowl but
instead he
chased some of Iowa's monster bucks. Then right before next
seasons youth hunt with Dan,
he told Cody that he would be in Zink's 24-7
Gone For The Season video, and that is when
it really began for him. Cody met Field
and Clay Hundall and they successfully video taped
a youth hunt that is now on
the DVD. Waterfowl hunting is by far Cody's favorite thing to do
in the
fall because he enjoys spending time with his friends and family in the blind. Cody also
likes the feeling of fooling the birds and them responding to your
calling. Turning a whole
flock of mallards with your calling is an
awesome accomplishment to hi,. This past year,
Cody had the chance to go to
Stuttgart, Arkansas with his cousin, Dan, to watch him blow
in the World Championship Duck Calling Contest and he has
been drawn to contest calling
ever since. This year, Cody will start comp calling. When not
hunting waterfowl Cody likes
to play baseball, call in contest, hunt turkeys and chase monster whitetails. Cody is looking
forward to helping
Fowl Exposure expand and work together with the other Pro-Staffers
on
making Fowl Exposure a great new company.

Gary Orr

- Hixson, Tennessee
- Fowl Exposure Southeast Pro-Staff
Gary Orr and was born in central Florida, and moved to
Tennessee when he was fifteen. On his
first duck hunt, the first bird he
shot landed in the blind and hit him in the shoulder, after that he
was
hooked. A hardcore hunter from Gary's church took him on his first duck hunt
and also introduced
him to deer hunting as well. Always wanting to go duck
hunting, and not having anybody to take him, Gary
was forced to learn how
to do things by himself by trial and error. This is why he enjoys taking
kids and
people who have not experienced the thrill of our sport of
duck hunting. Gary enjoys watching people's
faces after they have shot
their first duck or watching their faces while birds are cupping up or
swimming
in the decoys. Gary was fortunate enough to take his dad on his
first duck this past season and watch him
kill his first duck. Gary's
favorite type of hunting is probably layout blind hunting on the river
bank on
islands and sandbars. There is nothing like watching a big ol'
greenhead circle and circle and finally
try to sit down in your
decoys. In college Gary was introduced to bowhunting, and on his first
bowhunt, Gary
got lucky and killed a big doe. Once again, Gary was hooked
after that. Bowhunting gets Gary through late
September until duck
season. Gary usually only bowhunts and lovse watching the squirrels, deer,
birds, and
other animals in their habitat not knowing that he's there.
Once duck season is over, Gary gets his turkey calls
out and starts getting
ready for late March for spring gobblers. Gary was fortunate after high
school to be offered
a scholarship to play division 1 football at
Austin Peay State University in Clarksville, Tennessee. Gary is going
to
be a senior next fall and has been the starting quarterback for the
past two football seasons. Gary plans on
graduating college next December.
Michael Ward
Photo Coming Soon!
- Wichita, Kansas
- Fowl Exposure Midwest Regional Pro-Staff Manager
Michael Ward is 17 years old and current lives in Wichita, Kansas and
hunts the south central portion
of the state. His first hunting
experience came when he was seven years old. Michael's dad and uncle took
him
out on a flooded timber hunt in Arkansas. All Michael did was watch and they
had him hooked.
Michael's dad finally put a gun in his hand when he was ten and he
hasn't taken a break since. Although
Michael doesn't mind hunting geese, duck
hunting is his true passion. There is nothing like a group of
mallards
locked up on your spread. Every year Michael tries to spend as many days
hunting as possible.
It doesn't matter if it's a marsh, lake, river,
field, or pond, if there are ducks there, he is chasing them.
Duck
hunting is something that Michael really enjoyed as a kid and I hope to be
able to share his experience
with others, especially his cousins and
eventually his kids. Occasionally, Michael will deer and pheasant
hunt but he usually sticks to waterfowling. Hunting is the only thing he
knows of where you wake up
before the sun, and hang out in the cold that
keeps you coming back everyday to do it again. Outside of
hunting, Michael
plays varsity baseball, golf, and loves to fish. He is a die-hard LSU
sports fan and will
be heading off to college in a year and a half. No
matter where Michael goes to school, he will be
somewhere hunting during the
season.
Jeremy Borchelt
- Liberty, Missouri
- Fowl Exposure Pro-Staff
About 10 years ago, Jeremy started waterfowl hunting started with a dozen unlined
very cheap duck decoys with some hand-me-down duck calls. After shooting his first
duck opening day (bull woodduck) he was hooked. Since then he's grown as a
waterfowler, goose calling in the pro competition circuit and guiding other hunters
around Missouri. Nicknamed the "gooseslayer" rightfully acclaimed, he travels all
across the country side in search of the canada goose. "You wanna kill geese gimme
hollar and we'll have a big time in Missouri!"
